Bajaj Dominar 400 2017 | Review,mileage,price,slipper clutch.

Welcome to the passion Welcome to the HBR MOTO today i have something very exciting to show you as you can see but before we move to the real review The first owner of this bike in Chandigarh Mr. Krishna So how was your experience as a first owner of this bike **in chandigarh Actually i was willing for this bike when it was a ds400 and lots of time i thought like this is my last choice,this is my last choice but finally dominar is my last choice and i am really happy so in short he want a bike that he want to cruise to the roads and go to the office and this was the choice of him i want to congratulate every single engineer Designer ,everyone who put their efforts to make dominar happen. and specially within the price tag of… 1.36 lakh Rupees ex showroom delhi for the non-abs version and 1.5 lakh for twin channel abs version and second important thing is that i am not going to any conclusion on this bike because i didnt ride it for it long ride and off course i am not paid by bajaj or any brand specially any dealership now lets get started fristly talk about specifications it comes with 373.27cc,single cylinder liquid cooled fuel injection engine It gives the max power 35bhp @ 8,000rpm And the max torque 30nm @ 6,500rpm official top speed 148kmph but I think bike can perform more than that. Now let’s talk about the technologies which is used in this bike and advantges that I am excited to share with you first of all slipper clutch in this price segment yes bajaj make it happens if you don’t know about slipper clutch let me give you information that how it works suppose you are going on high speed on top gear and accidentally or somehow I dropped the gears at high speed which make the rear wheel locked as badly it can turn bike will skid and make me fall very badly in the non slipper clutch bike but in this bike there is a technology which will not let that happen there is a special unit with gearbox when you drop your gears it will start working until your rear wheel speed or rpm is going to match the engine rpm Make your bike more controlled and stable and make your safe And second exciting thing is Aho led headlamps aho stands for automatic headlamps on .It doesn’t have any switch to turn it off when engine start headlights will automatically on and talking about the design of headlamp its quite promising almost as shown in the auto expo 2014 and this headlights make this bike more visible on road more safe for rider for the longer rides Lets talk about it’s speedometer Its split reverse lcd display speedometer with a lot of special functionalities like current time,abs indication ,side stand,oil temperature,rev limit indicator etc one thing is missing in this panel that is current gear indicator This bike has twin channel abs with bybyre callipers many riders feel that brakes should be more better than current ones but again I am not going to make decision or conclusion on this bike ,only time will conclude this bike Bajaj take fit n finish far better ,still a little things which could be better than know i am going to tell you about that little things Firstly vibrations on high revs specially in handlebar and this bike is quite heavy ,it weighs 182 kg ,19 kg heavier than ktm duke 390 and I feel really good amount of windblast after 120kmph ,and its front suspensions are conventional but for the better stability usd (upside down)suspensions are required usd is very good for offroading,harsh condtions like potholes etc ,people feel brking could be more better but you can ignore these things with the price tag itself Compare to the other bikes in this price tag even if you are looking for even cbr 150 you can afford this bike by putting only more 6 thousand in your budget for non abs version and for the abs version of dominar its cheaper than the cbr 250 standard version but keep in mind that cbr is more aerodynamically friendly bike means you will not feel not that much air blast that you are going to feel on dominar but again engine wise there is absolute no competiton in the indian market and compare to duke 390 power its 7ps lower but by torque its almost the same and its powerful than mojo ,duke 200,duke 250 and rc 200.and offcourse its more better than royal enfield himalyan in the terms of engine I hope bajaj servicing is going to better because this bike need to be more care than other normal bikes In short with this price tag its an exceptional bike from all and very much tourer and long ride friendly .
